A chilly ride in Miami.
It was a chilly night in Miami for the Esk8Miami crew. Temperatures were in the low 60’s and with the windchill from the electric boards moving at a top speed of up to 22.3 miles/hour, we could definitely feel the chill as we rode.
We took the “South Beach” route since we only had 4 riders. We stopped at the usual food joint, La Sandwicherie. Since we were on a short ride, nobody had to charge their rides.
I rode an Evolve Carbon GT w/107mm wheels. Not problems taking the South Beach streets or the South Beach boardwalk.
All our riders had protective gear on. It’s better to be safe than to be sorry.
